Residents of West Ancroft are to get a chance to comment on plans by E.ON to build a new wind farm in the area.
The publicly owned company is to hold two exhibitions to get the opinions of local residents of their plans.
If the plan receives approval the company aims to build an eight-turbine 18 megawatt wind farm.
It will have the capacity to power 10,200 homes, which will result in the reduction of 20,793 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions per year.
E.ON Climate and Renewables project developer Charles Rattan told said: "We want to ensure that the local community is kept up-to-date with our plans, which is why we are holding these events. We'll also be working to make sure that local stakeholders are kept informed at all stages."
Many wind farm projects end up stalling or being rejected on the basis of local opposition, so developing an understanding with the local community is essential.
E.ON already has 21 onshore and offshore wind farms around the UK and is a partner in the London Array, a one gigawatt project which will be built in the Thames Estuary.
