What should I do if I think one of my Gas Appliances is unsafe?

Stop using any gas appliance immediately if you think it may not be working properly and contact a Gas Safe™ registered engineer for advice. 

If an appliance fails a gas safety check, a red warning notice will be placed on it. It's an offence for anyone other than a Gas Safe™ registered engineer to remove this. The engineer will advise you how your appliance can be repaired if it's condemmed. You can also check on gassaferegister.co.uk.
