How do you calculate my charges and discounts when I have had a price change or changed my Plan?

If we have an actual reading from the date you changed your Plan, from either you or from our meter readers, we’ll use it.

If we don’t have a reading from the Plan change date, then we’ll estimate the reading instead, we’ll base this estimated reading on your daily average usage from readings we’ve obtained previously.

After a change of your Plan, or prices, your discount will be applied separately for each set of charges, both before and after your price/Plan change, rather than having your whole discount applied at the new discount rate on your current charges.

For example if your charges for Plan A were £100.00 with a 5% discount and Plan B were £100.00 with 10% discount you would get £5.00 off your first set of charges and £10.00 off your current Plan’s charges giving a total discount of £15.00 rather than the £20.00 discount that you would get if we applied your current discount rate for the whole billing period.
