FAQ Subject - Understanding Your Bill
How do I know if I have a metric or an imperial meter?
If it is an imperial meter, measuring gas in hundred cubic feet, it will have the words 'cubic feet', or the letters 'hcf' shown somewhere on the front.
Iif it is a metric meter, it will say it measures gas in 'cubic metres', or will have the letter 'm3' on the front.
Another way you’ll be able to tell which type of meter you have is the number of dials that you have. Not counting any dials that are red, a different colour to the rest of your dials, or after the decimal point, you’ll have four dials if your meter is imperial and either five or six if your meter is a metric one.
