How can I avoid an estimated bill?

In order to avoid an estimated bill, we need actual readings from your meter.

If you manage your account online and we have your email address, you will receive a message from us when we need your readings. You can then provide these online.

If you don’t manage your account online, a meter reader will attempt to visit your property to take a reading once every three months. However in some circumstances they may not be able to take the reading before we send the bill. Therefore the more reads you provide us, the more accurate bills you will receive. You can provide us a meter readings online at any time.
