The Carbon Trust

The Carbon Trust helps business and the public sector cut carbon emissions, and supports the development of low carbon technologies. For free, practical help and advice for your organisation on saving money through reducing energy use, visit their website.

They also jointly support the Energy Efficiency Accreditation Scheme along with the NEF (see below). This is the UK’s only independent award scheme recognising achievements in reducing energy use by leading organisations in industry, commerce and the public sector. The National Energy Foundation (NEF)

The National Energy Foundation is an independent educational charity. Its objective is to work for the more efficient, innovative, and safe use of energy and to increase the public awareness of energy in all its aspects. Currently it is working in the areas of renewable energy and energy efficiency.
