Did you know...
Our plan to invest more than £1 billion in renewable energy projects in the UK over the next few years continues. We’ve already built the UK’s largest dedicated biomass power station at Stevens Croft and we’re developing one of the world’s largest offshore wind farms in the Solway Firth.
Our investment into renewable energy technology means we’re one of the leading wind farm developers in the UK today. Our responsibility to the environment and to the communities where we all live and work will continue into the future.
As well as showing renewable sources, the table gives a breakdown of the different types of fuel we use to produce electricity for all of our customers combined. Figures are for the period 1 April 2007 to 31 March 2008.
