The Renewable Heat Incentive is a Government scheme that provides financial support to non-domestic renewable heat generators and producers of biomethane.
£860million has been made available from central Government funding to support the RHI over the period 2011-2014.
RHI Premium Payment Bid – application deadline 15th September.
As part of the Government’s latest announcement on the renewable heat incentive (RHI), social landlords have an opportunity to bid for part of a £3m capital grant pot - similar to but not as generous as LCBP - to implement renewable heat technologies in their properties. Applications close on 15th September 2011.
Under the terms of the incentive, those registered social landlords (RSL) that offer monitoring services will be given preference. As a leading champion of sustainable energy, we welcome the opportunity to work with RSLs looking to secure a portion of this funding, and can also help them with the monitoring required to be successful.
If you have earmarked the funding for a renewable heat project which could qualify for this premium payment and would like to discuss, please contact us on 0800 0515 687 or email ses@eonenergy.com. Phase two from 2012
Government intend to introduce a second phase of support from 2012, which will establish support for the domestic sector as well as a number of other technologies and fuel uses that they have been unable to support from the outset.
