Carbon Emissions Reduction Target (CERT)
CERT is an obligation on energy suppliers to achieve targets for promoting reductions in carbon emissions in the household sector. It came into effect on April 1 2008 and will run until 2011.
In certain circumstances, we will be able to release CERT funding to help Registered Social Landlords to achieve carbon savings to help us to achieve our targets.
