Who qualifies for discounted home insulation?

E.ON heavily subsidies the cost of home insulation, so everyone is able to take advantage of our insulation offers which start from £150. Unlike many other providers, we also cover the cost of extras such as scaffolding, up to a value of £200.

We set up our CaringEnergy Fund to help our customers who are facing financial difficulty and who may not be eligible for financial help from Government schemes. Visit our CaringEnergy page for more information.

T’s &C’s

1 Installing these measures will reduce your heating bills and we calculate that this could be as much as £390 a year for a 1940's 3 bed semi detached home with a ten year old gas boiler and a gas price of 3.73p/kWh. More modern homes save less. Your individual savings depend on a large number of factors and the £390 quoted should be treated as a guide. Also experience tells us that many customers like to have a warmer home, making it more comfortable. This reduces the saving. But even allowing for this, both forms of insulation are a worth-while investment

2 Insulation is only free for loft insulation where there is less than 60mm existing insulation. Where existing loft insulation is between 60mm and 160mm, a top-up loft insulation product will be required. The cost of top-up loft insulation is £200. The £100 rebate offer will still apply.

3 £100.00 cheque will be issued within 8 weeks of the installer letting us know your insulation has been completed.
