Our Caring Energy team is here for you when you need a little more support, offering lots of practical advice. We work with a number of external organisations too, so even if we can’t help ourselves we’ll still try to find a solution that works for you.

We can help with,

  • Advice and information on how to save energy and money
  • Applying for any benefits you might be entitled to
  • Understanding the different ways you can pay for your energy bills
  • Giving you information in a format that's right for you
  • Making sure you get the level of service that you need

We offer a number of free services to vulnerable customers through our Priority Services Register including,

  • Password protection schemes and identity cards
  • Minicom/textphone facilities
  • Talking Braille or large print bills
  • Quarterly meter readings so you don't receive estimated bills
  • Annual gas safety checks
  • Meter moves to make sure it's accessible
  • Priority in an emergency

We can add you to our Priority Service Register if you are; of pensionable age, disabled, chronically sick, blind or partially sighted, and/or deaf or hearing impaired.
