UK with international placement opportunities

On our Engineering scheme, you'll work closely with the experts who are changing the future of energy. You'll learn how they think, how they tackle problems, and how they turn good ideas into great ones. What's more, you'll have your own mentor and receive support towards earning chartered status. We promote professional development and fully support all graduates on their journey toward chartership through our accredited graduate scheme.

What you'll do

On our two year Engineering scheme, you'll complete structured six month placements, which may include time overseas. You’ll be developing your engineering competencies in our generation business.  One month, you could be working within a performance improvement team looking at key areas to improve, the next you might be supporting a lead engineer on critical and challenging engineering projects, or learning about commercial optimisation.  The opportunities won’t stop.  And neither will you.

What you'll need to bring

You'll need at least a 2:1 (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering. You should have sharp analytical skills, a talent for thinking outside the box, and the ability to work well with others.  If you want to work internationally and already speak more than one language, so much the better.
