Consultation and engagement

Information sessions

We recently submitted our application to Argyll and Bute Council for the Clachaig Glen wind farm and are now hosting a Meet the Developer event.

This is an opportunity for you to drop in and view the Environmental Statement as well as ask any questions you may have about the application before you formally comment on the project.

The details for the event are as follows:

Location: A'Chleit Hall, Muasdale

Date: Thursday 26th May 2016

Time: 4pm-8pm

In September 2015, we held public where people had the opportunity to meet the project team, ask any questions and offer suggestions and comments.

If you weren’t able to make it you can still read all the information below.

As the project progresses, we'll continue to provide opportunities for meaningful consultation like public events and workshops, so your views and comments can be heard and, where possible, taken into account in the design of the wind farm.

We recognise that people and interest groups living, working and using the area on a regular basis have a wealth of knowledge and may be able to identify issues affecting the proposed wind farm that statutory consultees are not aware of.

The purpose of our consultation will be to identify any issues we should take into account in our studies and incorporate ideas from the community wherever possible in our final design.

We believe that our approach to consultation results in wind farms that are sensitively designed and bring benefits to the area.
