In March 2012 we submitted a scoping document to key statutory and local community stakeholders to get their views on what we should include in our formal studies.
Environmental consultant specialists undertook the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and surveys for the new nine turbine layout. Their findings form part of the EIA, which is necessary for all wind farms.
The EIA typically considers potential impacts such as:
- Cultural Heritage
- Landscape and Visual
- Cumulative impact
- Shadow flicker
- Access and transport
- Ground conditions
