After more than 20 years of generating clean, renewable energy, we're looking to repower Wales’ oldest wind farm, Rhyd-y-Groes on Anglesey. Planning consent was granted to repower the project in July 2016. The repower will involve dismantling the existing turbines and replacing them with 11 new turbines with a total installed capacity of 9.9MW. A date has not yet been set for the construction of the repower project.
Rhyd-y-Groes is owned by TPG Wind Ltd, a joint venture between E.ON and Eurus Energy UK Ltd.
Thank you to everyone who came along to our public exhibition sessions. If you weren’t able to attend you can still read about the project on our project information page.
