After a record-breaking summer, we want to make the coming months just as memorable. There’s lots of things to do in winter, so dust off your woolly jumpers, wrap up warm and read our list of 10 things to look forward to this season...

1. Creating the perfect winter hideaway

Whether you love sequins on a Saturday night or prefer a boxset marathon, staying in is the new going out. You could create the perfect winter hideaway in your living room... just gather the blankets, light a few candles, grab the remote and bring on the drama.

2. Warming up in a hot bath

You can’t beat a bath on a cold day. Taking a dip isn’t just a great way to keep warm in winter, it’s also been proven to relieve stress and help with a range of health problems. Did you know we kept city swimmers warm by using air source heat pumps to take heat straight from thin air? The results were quite refreshing...

3. Wearing winter jumpers

The woolly jumper – redundant for so long in all that summer sun. As winter approaches, it’s officially time to hunker down and get your knitwear out again.

4. Taking control of the heat

It can be hard to find the ideal temperature for your home in summer. But with winter on its way, you can take back control of the heat with a tado° Smart Thermostat. If you enable the Alexa skill you won’t even have to hop off the sofa to live life at the perfect temperature. Want to win your very own Echo Dot?
