We are shaping the energy of the future – together with our customers

Posted 29/11/2019 by E.ON

Following our acquisition of innogy (which owns npower in the UK) we have today announced a number of proposals to address the challenging situation in the UK energy market.

Customers of both E.ON and npower need not worry about the changes being made and don’t need to take any action – their energy supply will continue and their account will be serviced as normal.

For UK customers of both E.ON and npower, your supply and account will continue as normal and you can contact us in the usual way. Nothing changes today.

Q: I’m joining E.ON from npower (or vice versa) – what should I do?
A: Nothing, the terms you signed-up for will remain in place, the transfer will go ahead as planned.

Q: I’m moving house / moving business premise, my new house / business premise is supplied by npower, what should do?
A: Contact npower and they will set you up in your new property.

Q: I have a business account with npower and E.ON, will I still deal with you separately?
A: You should continue to work with E.ON and npower in the way you currently do.

Q: I’m a Third Party Intermediary (TPI) or a broker, will I still deal with npower and E.ON separately?
A: You should continue to work with E.ON and npower in the way you currently do.

Q: Will your prices change because of this deal?
A: No, but we’re constantly reviewing our product offerings to provide the best possible value to our customers.
