No fuss replacement
Once you've been covered for six months, if they can’t repair your boiler, HomeServe will replace it. If it’s less than seven years old, they’ll install a new boiler for free.

What will I be covered for? – Boiler cover
With Gas Boiler breakdown cover with Service through HomeServe you’ll be covered for:
- Repairs to your home’s gas central heating boiler including controls
- Replacement of the heat exchanger
- A noisy boiler
The main exclusions are:
- Faulty radiators
- Water pipes, tanks and cylinders external to your boiler
- The gas pipe leading in to your meter

What will I be covered for – Electrical cover
With ‘Electrical Emergency & Breakdown’ cover through HomeServe, you’ll be covered for:
- Repairs to your home’s mains electrical wiring system
- Repairs to a broken immersion heater

Who is eligible for boiler cover?
If your house is heated with gas and you’re a homeowner living in a house, bungalow or flat you are eligible for boiler cover through HomeServe.
If you’re a landlord or tenant or if you live in a mobile home or bedsit you won’t be eligible.
Electrical cover is also available to homeowners living in a house, flat or bungalow, but not available to landlords or tenants and those living in bedsits or mobile homes.
