Why do I need a boiler service plan?

Your new Worcester Bosch boiler comes with a manufacturer's guarantee, but to keep the guarantee valid, you'll need to have your boiler serviced annually. With our boiler service plan we'll make sure you've got the right level of aftercare, so you know your boiler will keep working efficiently - and you'll be covered if anything does go wrong.

When will the annual boiler service take place?

Worcester Bosch will call you directly to arrange a service visit. This will usually be between April and September and then on the anniversary for the remainder of the plan. This may mean that your first service is a little more than a year after the boiler was installed, but this is still covered by the guarantee.

Can I get the plan on its own for my existing boiler?

Currently, the boiler service plan is only available to customers buying a new boiler from us. Get a quote for a new boiler and remember to add the service plan to your order.

How much does the boiler service plan cost?

Our three year boiler service plan costs £396 and if you need to, you can include this in your overall boiler finance package with us.1

In return, you'll have the peace of mind that your yearly boiler service will be carried out by a Worcester Bosch engineer - meaning excellent service and all parts and labour covered at no extra cost.

What happens during a boiler service?

The Worcester Bosch service technician will check that your boiler is working efficiently, carrying out a visual check of your boiler, its controls and the flues. They'll also do a complete check of the operation of the boiler, check to see if any quality updates are needed and check polarity and voltage readings.

Why choose the E.ON boiler service plan?

Our plan is delivered by the experts - Worcester Bosch, the boiler manufacturer. If the engineer finds any faults with your boiler during the service, they can usually fix it there and then, under your guarantee. This means you can get everything done in one visit, rather than having to book another appointment for another day.

Who will carry out the service?

The annual boiler service is carried out by an experienced Worcester Bosch Service Technician. All Worcester Bosch technicians are Gas Safe qualified.

Is anything not included?

The service plan doesn't include repairs from damage to the system, work arising from hard water scale deposits or blockages. Any self-maintenance tasks such as re-pressurising and resetting the boiler, bleeding excess system pressure and thawing frozen pipes/water won't be carried out by the servicing technician. The plan only covers your boiler - not the rest of the heating system such as controls, radiators, hot water tanks and pipework.
