It's time to take climate action

We're in a climate crisis, and we all need to act. Not by 2030. Not by next year. Now.

Because when it comes to climate action, impatience is a virtue. That's why we offer 100% renewable electricity to all our customers with a fixed tariff*, and why we offer a range of sustainable solutions for homes and businesses - including solar panels, smart meters, EV chargers and air source heat pumps.

81%

81% of the UK say they are worried about climate change and it's effects1.

1.1°C

The world is already 1.1°C hotter than it was between 1850 and 1900, but we can avoid more dire impacts of climate change by limiting warming to 1.5°C2

Reducing impact

The technology to reduce our carbon impact exists today, and the faster we adopt it, the more we can limit the damage to our planet.

Where we can help

We don't just help people make their homes more climate friendly - we offer sustainable solutions for businesses and cities to help combat climate change.

How we're taking climate action now

We're working to help achieve the UK's target of net zero carbon emissions by 2050, and we've been fighting the climate crisis for years. In 1991 we built our first wind farm, and in 2000 we commissioned Britain's first offshore wind farm. We've also refurbished around 3,000 homes in the Highlands and installed solar panels on more than 6,000 customers' homes.

1.4 million

Since 2008, we've fitted 1.4 million energy efficiency measures in approximately 500,000 homes.

3.3 billion

We've also invested £3.3bn in UK renewables.

6 million

We've also installed over 400 electric vehicle chargers in homes across the UK, and provided more than 6 million miles of charging for EV drivers since 2021.

Power of progress

"Our business is driven by sustainability. We consider the needs of the present generation and anticipate the needs of future generations."
