Once your property is fully insulated and the heat you produce stays in your home rather than escaping, we’ll look at upgrading your heating system to ensure you pay less to produce the heat you need to stay warm. E.ON have a number of different ways we can do this.

Electric Storage Heaters (ESH)

ESH work by storing heat generated by cheaper night-time electricity and releasing this heat during the day. Most storage heaters are wall-mounted and look a bit like radiators.

Smart Heat Controls (SHCs)

SHCs allow you to have greater control over your home heating, by giving you access to your smart thermostat on the move from any Wifi enabled device such as a tablet or smartphone.

Communal Heating Systems (CHS)

CHS are more common in low or high rise blocks. Where you have a large concentration of properties in one area it is easier to install one heating system for the whole building and then providing each property with an individual radiator system and a separate heat meter within your property. This technology can be affordable to run, and the design means that you have more space inside your home because you don’t need a heat pump or boiler inside.

Gas Boilers

Did you know that old, inefficient boilers use up a lot more energy than new A-rated boilers? The A-rated boilers we install can help you reduce your energy wastage and monthly fuel costs.

Air Source Heat Pumps

Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs) are around 3 to 4 times more efficient than LPG, oil, electricity and gas boilers. So you could benefit from annual savings on your energy bills6.

With an air source heat pump you'll have a fully-controllable heating system, providing your home with extra warmth, hot water and comfort whatever the weather.
