Racing towards decarbonisation
What is Extreme E racing?
Who are Veloce?
Spearheaded by legendary Formula 1 designer Adrian Newey and Formula E Champion and ex-Formula 1 driver Jean-Éric Vergne, Veloce is a London-based organisation that focuses on disruptive areas of the sports and entertainment industries – specifically esports and sustainable EV motorsport.
E.ON x Veloce partnership
This is our fourth season working with Veloce, showcasing the excitement people can find in the switch to lower carbon motoring and playing yet more of a part in a zero-carbon world. There is so much in common here – from our commitment to sustainability and taking action for climate, or increasing the diversity across our industries, and we couldn’t have a better partner to share our vision.
Championing gender equality in motorsport
Our recent collaboration encourages sustainability, innovation and opportunity for women in both motorsport and STEM careers. Jamie Chadwick, who raced for Veloce in 2021, shares her views on the exciting future of Extreme E. And you can hear more from Amanda Kangai, Junior Engineer at Veloce, about her journey into motorsport and how she's combining her studies with practical knowledge on the racetrack. Together we can do more
Getting people excited about the switch to lower carbon motoring is a key part of the journey to a zero-carbon world. Extreme E, Veloce Racing, and the all-electric off-road series is proving that EVs have the grunt to go with the green credentials.
Our mission is to make sustainable energy and everyday solutions available for all – such as providing 100% renewable electricity for EVs along with charging points in homes, businesses and cities across the UK and Europe.... We’re already taking action for the climate but together we can do more.
