E.ON - your partner for integrated energy solutions

What we do    integrated-energy-solutions-graph

E.ON offers integrated energy solutions for industrial and commercial across Europe, as well as the public sector.

Our solutions include more efficient lighting, cooling and  heating technologies.

As well as optimising existing facilities, we can help to install new and highly efficient on-site generation plant or systems at customers’ sites.

Energy analysis and consultancy

First, we’ll determine the energy optimisation and savings potential across your facilities – looking closely at the ‘where’ and ‘when’ you use energy, the systems and machinery you need to operate and what can be done to reduce consumption and become more efficient..

Our project management experts will design a solutions package tailored for your business needs. . We can even provide a complete energy management service for you.

Energy efficiency measures

We’ll look at lighting, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, boilers, chillers and compressed air – all of which account for 95% of building energy consumption.

We work across sites as diverse as retailers, shopping centres, assembly plants, production facilities, distribution centres, data centres, hospitals and office buildings.

By connecting your Building energy Management System to our 24/7  Energy Management Centre, we’ll be able to remotely analyse your energy data and optimise your energy consumption and efficiency opportunities.

On-site generation - more than 25 years of experience

No matter how large your business, we can supply you with electricity, heat, and cooling for air conditioning and refrigeration. We can also process steam, heat, cooling and compressed air.

But you can also take advantage of on-site generation. We’re experienced with technologies such as: combined heat and power (co-generation); combined cooling, heating and power (tri-generation); high-efficiency boilers; gas or steam turbines and with heat pumps or with photovoltaics.

What’s more, we’ll manage the process – from planning, design and engineering to procurement, financing, installation, operation and maintenance.

Virtual Power Plants & Demand Response Management

Flexibility, or demandside response, is the potential for energy users to modify their on-site generation or consumption to provide a benefit to the energy system; this can either earn a return or qualify for reduced network charges.

You may have some flexibility in your generating units such as backup generators, combined heat and power, heat pumps or compressors. That spare capacity or reduced consumption can help to balance increased demand elsewhere on the energy network.

We can help you turn this flexibility into ways to generate income or avoid fees through integrating them into our Virtual Power Plant. For example, during periods of grid stress, we would help you to sell this capacity to short-term markets to help stabilise the UK energy network.
