Renewable Heat Incentive

The Renewable Heat Incentive is a Government scheme that provides financial support to non-domestic renewable heat generators and producers of biomethane.

£860million has been made available from central Government funding to support the RHI over the period 2011-2014. 

Phase two from 2013

Government intend to introduce a second phase of support for the domestic sector and this is expected to launch in summer 2013, but it is still in consultation (Sept. 2012).
