Ground source heat pumps

Reduce carbon emissions by two thirds

Rethink your heating and hot water

Ground source heat pumps (GSHP) are an affordable way to get heating and hot water. They extract heat that already exists in the ground or water, rather than producing it from scratch – making them extremely energy efficient. As a result, GSHP generate between 3 and 5 times as much energy as they consume.

Benefits of GSHP

Generate 100% of your own heat

Ground source heat pumps (GSHP) can deliver all your heating and hot water requirements on-site.

Benefit from incentives

RHI will pay off the cost of installation and earn you an income for 20 years.

Practical for your premises

Our heat pumps require little space and minimal maintenance.

How Ground source heat pumps work

- Ground source heat pumps harvest naturally occurring thermal energy from the ground and boost it to a useful temperature. They can also store waste heat from cooling a building or from process cooling. This heat is stored during the summer months for use in the winter.

- To do this, bore holes or ground loops are installed into the ground and the heat is extracted to provide a constant source of heat all year round.

- The heat is then distributed through the building via traditional radiators and hot water cylinders.
