Full Terms and Conditions

1. This Promotion is open to residents of the UK (excluding Northern Ireland) aged 18 and over who are customers of E.ON for gas and/or electricity at the point the draw concludes (23:59 UK time on 31 December 2018).

2. This Promotion is not open to anyone employed by the Promotor (including contractors or agency partners and their immediate families).

3. Only one entry per household, except for E.ON customers who either have a Smart meter installed or book an appointment/register their interest for a smart meter between 15 November and 31 December, who will get a maximum of one additional entry per household.

4. All entries must be made directly by the person entering the Promotion.

5. No purchase necessary to enter or win the prizes but internet access is required.

6. Entries which are incomplete, misspelt or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical reason are void and will not be entered into this Promotion.

7. Opening Date: The Promotion opens on 15 November 2018 (09:00 UK time). Entries received by the Promotor before the opening date and time will be invalid and will not be entered into this Promotion.

8. Closing Date: The Promotion ends on 31 December 2018 (23:59 UK time). Entries received by the Promotor after the closing date and time will be invalid and will not be entered into this Promotion.

a. Tier 1: 1 x personalised holiday to the cash value of £5,000

c. Tier 3: 100 x £20 voucher codes which can be redeemed at a wide range of high street and online stores

11. Additional Prize Details:

a. Tier 1:

i. The Tier 1 prize will be fulfilled by the Promotor's trusted 3rd party partner, Inspire Europe Limited. The Promotor does not guarantee the performance of any third party and shall not be liable for any act or default by a third party.

ii. The personalised holiday will be to the maximum cash value of £5,000. The winner will be liable for the cost of any additional amount should the chosen holiday exceed the cash value of £5,000.

iii. An Inspire Travel Card to the value of £5,000 will be posted using Royal Mail Special Delivery to the winner by E.ON. The winner is required to contact Inspire Europe Limited (contact details can be found on their website https://www.travelbyinspire.co.uk/) who will help the winner create their holiday and will book the holiday on behalf of the winner.

iv. The prize can be spent on travel, accommodation and experiences only. Any remaining amount not spent on travel, accommodation and experiences, e.g. entry to a theme park, would be held on the Inspire Travel Card for the winner to redeem against a future holiday. No amount on the Inspire Travel Card can be substituted for cash.

v. Destinations and dates of travel are subject to availability at time of booking.

vi. The prize must be redeemed and the holiday taken within 18 months of prize acceptance as referred to at clause 13. Destination and preferred dates must be communicated to Inspire Europe Limited a minimum of 6 weeks prior to the proposed departure.

vii. The winner must be able to travel during this 18 month period. If required, the winner and any accompanying guests must have and maintain valid passports with an expiry date of no less than 6 months following the proposed date of travel. The winner and any accompanying guests are responsible for any visas required to claim the prize.

viii. If a booking is cancelled by the winner, the cost of alternative travel and accommodation and any other rebooking costs will be payable by the winner.

ix. These terms and conditions will also apply to any accompanying guests. The winner and any accompanying guests must comply with the terms and conditions of the travel and accommodation provider, including the terms of any insurance policy taken out for the holiday.

x. Any holiday booked with Inspire will be subject to their Travelcard terms and conditions as available on their website.

xi. For the avoidance of doubt, the prize does not include and must not be used to offset the cost of travel insurance, souvenirs, gratuities, car parking charges, excess baggage, and any other costs of a personal nature (including spending money) that are not explicitly set out in these terms and conditions and neither the Promoter nor any provider of any part of the prize will be responsible for any such costs.

b. Tier 2

i. A Virgin Experience Gift Card to the value of £250 can be exchanged for 100s of experiences, days out or short breaks. The gift cards will be posted to each of the 4 winners using Royal Mail Special Delivery in line with the timings set out below.

ii. A Fitbit Versa will be posted using Royal Mail Special Delivery to each of the 4 winners in line with the timings set out below.

iii. A Wellness Box worth £150 will be posted using Royal Mail Special Delivery to each of the 4 winners in line with the timings set out below.

c. Tier 3

i. Voucher codes to the value of £20 will be emailed to each of the 100 winners (using the email address provided at the time of entry) in line with the timings set out below. The email will contain a unique 16 digit Compliments Select code and full instructions on how to redeem the code through the Compliments Select site. All Tier 2 and Tier 3 prizes, will be fulfilled by the Promotor's trusted 3rd party partner, Edenred (UK Group) Limited.

12. The winners for all prizes will be selected at random within 10 working days (excluding bank holidays) of the closing date.

13. The winner of the Tier 1 prize will be informed by email (using the email address provided at the time of entry) and will need to respond to the email to confirm acceptance within 10 working days of the first contact received. If the winner does not claim their prize within 10 working days of being contacted, the Promotor reserves the right in its sole discretion to pick an alternative winner.

14. The winners of the Tier 2 prizes will be informed by email (using the email address provided at the time of entry) and will be sent their prizes by post using Royal Mail Special Delivery within 6 weeks of the closing date.

15. The winners of the Tier 3 prizes will be emailed with their voucher code (using the email address provided at the time of entry) within 6 weeks of the closing date.

16. All winners will receive their prizes within 6 weeks after the closing date. Prizes can only be sent to the country of residence stated in clause 1. If entrants have not heard back from E.ON or have not received their prize within 6 weeks of the closing date, they can assume that their entry was unsuccessful.

17. If any of the prizes are no longer available for any reason, the Promotor reserves the right in its sole discretion to offer an alternative prize of similar financial value. There is no cash or credit alternative and the prizes are non- transferable and non negotiable.

18. The winners are responsible for all applicable taxes and expenses not specified in the description of the prizes above.

19. The Promotor has the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or change the terms of the Promotion at any time however it shall not change the closing date.

20. If you are a winner of the Promotion, you agree that the Promotor can use your name, image and country of residence to announce the winners and agree to participate in any publicity relating to this Promotion only, arranged by the Promoter.

21. The name and country of the winners will be available by emailing socialmedia@eonenergy.com 6 weeks after the closing date of the Promotion.

22. Your personal details will be kept confidential and in accordance with the Promotor's Privacy Policy. For further information please visit https://www.eonenergy.com/privacy. You agree and give consent to transfer and process your personal data by the Promoter for the purposes of this Promotion in accordance with the Promoters Privacy Policy.

23. The Promoter may refuse to award a prize, or seek its recovery, in the event of an entrant's fraud, dishonesty or non-entitlement under these terms and conditions.

24. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and any disputes shall be subject to the non exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

25. If any of these Terms and Conditions shall be found to be void or contrary to law, such term shall be deemed to be severable from the other terms and provisions herein, and the remainder of the Terms and Conditions shall remain in effect.

26. By entering into this Promotion, all entrants shall be deemed to have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

27. Save where the Promoter has been negligent, the Promoter shall in no way be liable for any injuries, losses, damages or expenses suffered or incurred by any winner of the prizes, as a direct or indirect result of participating in the Promotion and/or accepting a prize.
