Full Terms and Conditions

1. This Promotion is only open to legal residents of the United Kingdom who are aged 18 years or over and current customers of E.ON for at least gas and/or electricity, at the point the draw concludes (23.59 GMT on 30th January 2018), excludes employees of E.ON or their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotion agencies and members of these employee's families (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse and life partners), plus any other associated agents or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion.

2. Purchase is not necessary but internet access is required.

3. Promotion Period: 00.01 GMT on 5 December 2017 to 23.59 GMT on 30 January 2018.

4. To Enter: Visit https://www.eonenergy.com/for-your-home/winter-warmers-entry and fill in the form, providing your details to be entered into the draw. One entry per household.

5. The prizes are:

a. Tier 1: 1 x Personalised Holiday, to the value of £5,000.

b. Tier 2: i. 4 x tadoº Smart Thermostats ii. 4 x Amazon Echos (2nd Generation) iii. 4 x £250 cheques

c. Tier 3: 100 x £20 Amazon vouchers

6. Additional Prize Details:

a. Tier 1:

i. The personalised holiday will be to the value of £5,000 and cannot exceed this amount.

ii. Any remaining amount not spent on travel and accommodation will not be offered as a cash alternative.

iii. The holiday will be created and planned with the winner upon acceptance of the prize.

iv. Destinations and dates are subject to availability at time of booking.

v. The holiday must be taken within 1 year of prize acceptance. Destination and preferred dates must be communicated a minimum of 6 weeks prior to proposed departure.

vi. For the avoidance of doubt, the prize does not include travel insurance, travel/transportation, accommodation, food, beverages, souvenirs, gratuities, car parking charges, excess baggage, additional excursions and attractions or any other costs of a personal nature (including spending money) that are not explicitly set out in these terms and conditions and neither the Promoter nor any provider of any part of the Prize will be responsible for any such costs.

vii. The winner and any accompanying guests will require passports valid past the date of proposed return.

viii. The winner and any accompanying guests are responsible for any visas required to take the prize.

b. Tier 2:

i. The tadoº Smart Thermostat installation will be arranged by E.ON. This will be arranged with winners of the thermostats during winner notification. Prize includes tadoº Smart Thermostat and installation. Terms and Conditions apply - https://nextsteps.eoninstall.com/Tado/Order/Terms

ii. The Amazon Echos are 2nd Generation in Charcoal Fabric. Amazon Echo requires an Amazon account.

iii. £250 cheques, which will be sent directly to the address registered to your E.ON energy account.

c.Tier 3:

7. You may only win once.

8. Winners will be selected by a random draw within 7 days of the close of the Promotion, by an independent party.

9. Winners will be notified by email within 5 days after the draw and will need to respond within 21 days of the first contact received. If a winner does not respond within the 21 days of first contact, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that winner and pick another winner in the same manner. A total of 2 reserves per prize will be contacted. If no winner responds during the time period stated, the promoter reserves the right to not award a prize.

10. Prizes will be distributed within 28 days of the winner accepting the prize. Prizes can only be sent to the country of residence stated in clause 1.

11. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash or other alternative to the prizes are available in whole or in part. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute an alternative reward of equal or greater value.

12. The full names and counties of the winners can be obtained by visiting https://www.eonenergy.com/for-your-home/winter-warmers 6 weeks after the close of the promotion and will be available for a minimum of 1 month.

13. By entering, winners agree to participate in any publicity relating to this promotion only, arranged by the Promoter or by its agencies.

14. If you are the winner of the Promotion, you agree that the Promoter may use your name, image and town or county of residence to announce the winner of this promotion and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes.

15. By entering this Promotion, all participants will be deemed to have accepted that they are bound by the terms and conditions.

16. If things go wrong and, despite the Promoter's best endeavours, they are unable to administer the Promotion fairly or properly, The Promoter and their affiliated companies are not responsible and have the right to cancel or change the Promotion. They will only do this in exceptional circumstances. The Promoter also has the right to disqualify a participant if they tamper or abuse the entry process and they will not be entitled to the prize if they have acted fraudulently or dishonestly.

17. No liability is accepted for illegible, incomplete or late entries.

18. The Promoter will only use the personal details supplied for the running of the Promotion and for no other purpose, unless we have your explicit consent. Your personal details will at all times be kept confidential and in accordance with E.ON's Privacy Policy available at: https://www.eonenergy.com/privacy.

19. All entries must be made directly by the person entering the promotion.

20. Incomplete or illegible entries, bulk entries, entries by or via third parties or syndicates, entries by macros or other automated means (including systems which can be programmed to submit entries), and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these terms and conditions in full will be disqualified and will not be counted. If it becomes apparent that a participant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script', ‘brute force', masking their identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities other than their own or any other automated means to generate additional entries in a way that is not consistent with the spirit of the promotion, that person's entries will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.

21. The Promoter may refuse to award a prize, or seek its recovery, in the event of an entrant's fraud, dishonesty or non-entitlement under these terms and conditions.

22. The Promoter cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss or injury suffered by any entrant entering the Promotion or as a result of accepting or participating in any prize.

23. The decision of the Promoter shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

24. These terms and conditions are governed by English Law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts or England and Wales.
