Why has my price increased so much?

Your price can increase for a number of reasons:

  • You’re on a fixed term contract which has ended and you have renewed onto a new plan which is more expensive
  • You may be using more energy if your circumstances have changed i.e had a baby, more people in the property or if you’ve moved house
  • The weather has changed – i.e you’ll use more energy during the winter
  • If you have been underpaying for your energy we may have increased your monthly payments to cover what you’re using plus clear any outstanding balance on your account

Can I stay on my current deal?

Can't you just put me on what you think is best for me?

We'll never assume what the right tariff for you is, as your preference could change from year to year, so we'll leave it up to you to decide.
