Solar panels from installers you can trust

We want to make your solar journey as smooth as possible that's why we only work with MCS accredited installers. Once your solar panels are installed you can start to reap the rewards of generating your own renewable electricity. Plus all of our works are backed by HIES, the Home Insulation and Energy Systems insurance backed guarantee.

Accredited installers

All of our installation partners are MCS accredited and must pass our contractor safety engagement (CSE) checks.

Installation included

When you buy solar panels we'll take care of installing them for you at no extra cost.

Appointments to suit you

We all have busy lives that's why we ensure you can book your solar appointment at a time that suits you.

How long does it take to install a solar system?

Most installations are completed within a day but some larger jobs will take a little longer.  We can let you know once we know the size of the system you need.

We'll put your scaffolding up a few days before your installation and take it down a few days after and we'll always make sure we leave your property clean and tidy.

What happens during your solar installation?

Risk assessment

Prior to installing your solar panels we'll risk assess your property so that we're sure everything is safe and suitable for your installation to begin.

Scaffolding and roof hooks

Next we'll erect a safe scaffold to access your roof and fix roof hooks to your rafters, where we'll fix the rails to attach your solar panels.

Fitting and connecting to the electrics

We'll then fix the panels to the rails and connect all of the electrics to the consumer unit.

Neat and tidy finish

Lastly we'll ensure that all cabling is neatly fitted within a white or black conduit to suit your home.

Frequently asked questions about solar panel installation

How many weeks will it be before you can come and do the install?

Our lead time is around 4-6 weeks unless you need an application to your local network then it can take a little bit longer.

Are your installers E.ON employees?

We have both direct staff and also installation partners across the country, all of our partners have to complete a thorough onboarding process to be allowed to install on behalf of E.ON, so you can rest assured you're in the best of hands.

Do I need to apply for planning permission?

Not unless you’re in a conservation area or an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Can I erect my own scaffolding?

In most circumstances we will insist on erecting our own scaffold, to ensure the safety of you and our installers, however there are exceptions when scaffold is already in place for renovation works or a new build home is being built, but that scaffold would have to meet with our safety standards.
