Commercial heat pumps

Heat pump technologies are one of the most sustainable and cost-efficient ways of meeting both your heating and cooling needs.

What’s a heat pump?

Heat pumps extract heat from natural sources like the ground, air or water, or as a by-product of cooling equipment. The pumps then store the heat or distribute it as central heating or hot water - commonly in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.

Become more sustainable

Use natural sources from the air and ground to help your business lower carbon emissions.

Lower your running costs

Reductions in your heating and cooling costs will help your business generate savings.

Generate additional revenue

A series of subsidies, allow you to pay off the cost of  the installation and earn you an extra income.

Air source heat pumps

Use heat from the air to generate hot water and heating, and work even in low temperatures. Air source heat pumps (ASHP) are cheaper to install than ground source heat pumps and are reliable and cheap to operate.

Ground source heat pumps

Use heat from the ground for your hot water, heating and cooling. Ground source heat pumps (GSHP) generate up to 5 times the amount of energy they consume to meet all your heating and hot water needs.

Case studies

Heating and cooling at the Queens Medical Centre

We're working with the QMC in Nottingham to install a 4MW heat pump with 2.88MW of cooling capacity to produce renewable power by drawing heat from the earth and the air. This will provide a sustainable source of heating and cooling the hospital for years to come.
