Air source heat pumps
Use heat from the air to generate hot water and heating, and work even in low temperatures. Air source heat pumps (ASHP) are cheaper to install than ground source heat pumps and are reliable and cheap to operate.
Ground source heat pumps
Use heat from the ground for your hot water, heating and cooling. Ground source heat pumps (GSHP) generate up to 5 times the amount of energy they consume to meet all your heating and hot water needs.
Case studies
Heating and cooling at the Queens Medical Centre
We're working with the QMC in Nottingham to install a 4MW heat pump with 2.88MW of cooling capacity to produce renewable power by drawing heat from the earth and the air. This will provide a sustainable source of heating and cooling the hospital for years to come.
