Energising Coventry
Coventry is a city steeped in deep history and culture, including our own history at E.ON, as it has been home to our headquarters for more than 30 years. And now we vow to be part of it's future too. Among many projects and initiatives in the region, we've recently joined forces with Coventry City Council to launch a pioneering UK-first 15-year energy partnership to transform the city’s approach to carbon reduction while also promoting new investment in the city and the growth of a new green economy.

Coventry heroes
E.ON has been on a mission to find Coventry's Sustainability Heroes - the individuals and businesses who are leading the way in making our city more sustainable. As a city with a rich history of innovation and cultural significance, and through our 15-year partnership with Coventry City Council, Coventry has set its sights on becoming the cleanest, greenest city. From 'refill' shops striving to reduce waste, to young leaders campaigning for social and environmental causes, we have been inspired by the sustainability stories of our community who are making this city - and our planet - a greener, cleaner place.
Spark a light
We surveyed 10,000 people across the UK on their attitudes towards sustainable change in their local areas, and the opportunities to create a green economy. To bring this to life we collaborated with John Bernard, the poet laureate of Coventry, to create a poem that brings together the hopes, dreams and wishes of people from across the city that will hopefully ‘Spark a Light’ and inspire them to make some of the small changes that we could all make in our lives to contribute towards a greener future.
