Building lasting relationships

Having worked on street lighting projects with Lindum Homes at sites across Lincolnshire our commercial engineering team have developed and maintained a good working relationship with the Lindum Homes team, ensuring regular communication and project updates.  We we're able to build on our partnership by delivering housing connections at their new build site in Derby. Through building strong relationships with our customers we're able to expand our delivery portfolio and offer a whole range of solutions from just one trusted partner.

An efficient & flexible approach

Our experience in grid connections allows us to have an efficient approach to getting the job done. From our history of working with Lindum homes they know we're a flexible team, happy to work around other contractors and as a result, the project was delivered early. Having originally scheduled two weeks for the work we'd completed the job in one. We were also audited by the national grid twice during this project and received positive feedback from those audits.

Overcoming obstacles

We faced very few hurdles on this project which is always welcome, however due to the time of year that the works were happening, there was risk that the weather would impede on the programme of works. Due to our sufficient planning and flexible approach, we were able to complete the job around the weather, other contractors and other works happening on site, allowing us to deliver ahead of time.
