"We’re a growing business with roles to fill, and we’re keen to hear from any displaced persons interested in joining us whose application can be dealt with sympathetically."

Chris Norbury, Chief People Officer at E.ON

Displaced persons now in the UK who are looking for employment can quickly and easily express their interest in a role at E.ON, the UK’s largest electricity supplier.

E.ON is currently recruiting across digital operations, finance, customer operations and service within its UK Solutions and E.ON Next divisions. Available roles include product managers, business analysts, data/software engineers, credit and customer service energy specialists and administrators.

Some of these positions are fully home-based and require only an internet connection, others operate on a hybrid home/office basis, at sites in Bolton, Coventry, Leicester, London and Nottingham.

Applicants need only work a minimum of 20 hours per week, and all requests for reasonable adjustments or flexibility in the hours or days worked will be considered. E.ON already promotes a diverse and inclusive working environment offering options around full and part time arrangements, job shares and variable start and finishing times.

As extra support, a virtual community will operate within the business for any displaced persons to connect and network with others.

Chris Norbury, Chief People Officer at E.ON, said: “We want to act and support the people of Ukraine where we can, which is why the E.ON Group has already donated one million euros to the relief effort and here in the UK we’re match funding donations from our colleagues to the British Red Cross. We’re a growing business with roles to fill, and we’re keen to hear from any displaced persons interested in joining us whose application can be dealt with sympathetically.”

Any displaced persons wishing to register their interest in a role with E.ON can do so by emailing eonnextcareers@eon.com
