"Our people reflect the diversity of the millions of customers we serve which is why we strive to make all our colleagues feel welcomed, supported, respected and valued. For us, inclusion isn’t an add-on or an afterthought, it’s at the very heart of everything we say and do."

- Chris Norbury, CEO of E.ON UK

E.ON, one of the UK’s leading energy and sustainable solutions providers, has been ranked in the top 10 most inclusive employers list, having consistently featured in the Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers list since 2017.

E.ON is now ranked number eight in the list, up from 15 last year, and remains the only energy supplier to be included. The achievement marks the company’s year-on-year improvement in the list for the past seven years and is testament to E.ON’s commitment to driving equality, diversity and inclusion for its colleagues across the organisation.

Chris Norbury, E.ON UK CEO, said: “Our people reflect the diversity of the millions of customers we serve which is why we strive to make all our colleagues feel welcomed, supported, respected and valued. For us, inclusion isn’t an add-on or an afterthought, it’s at the very heart of everything we say and do. We’re continually seeking out opportunities to strengthen our commitments, listening to and delivering for our employees and enabling them to come to work as their authentic selves and to thrive.

“I’m incredibly proud to have this commitment acknowledged once again in the Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers list. This recognises our dedication at all levels within our organisation and demonstrates our continued improvement in this area.”

Over the past year alone, E.ON has signed up to Neurodiversity in Business to help improve awareness and understanding of neurodiversity in the workplace; improved support for colleagues dealing with fertility issues, including committing to being Fertility Friendly with Fertility Matters at Work; and extended its maternity leave provision to offer equal parent leave to dads, LGBT+ parents, guardians, adoptive parents and extended family who are legally responsible for a child. E.ON also continues to promote its colleague-led inclusivity networks, supporting areas such as racial inclusion, gender equality, parents, LGBT+, menopause and mental health.
