Also referred to as our Customer Operations Leadership scheme, this scheme is essentially a fast track to a leadership position within our customer facing business unit. It will see you focusing on the people that matter most: our customers. You'll learn how to solve their problems and how to exceed their expectations. At the same time, you’ll also learn how to motivate teams and inspire those around you.

By the end of this scheme, you should be perfectly placed to move straight into a management role – perhaps leading a team of up to 60 people.

What you'll do

You'll do four placements over 24 months. During that time, you’ll spend time with different parts of the business: sales, contact centres, field operations and projects. Our aim is to give you exposure to every aspect of our customer operation. One placement could see you leading a team in the field. Another, managing a contact centre team. Still another, working on an analytical project to improve some aspect of our customer offering.

By the end of your placements, you’ll not only understand our customers inside out. You’ll also understand the needs of our regulator, shareholders and key stakeholders. Equally important, you’ll also have the skills to manage teams to deliver the best customer service. You might even have gained international exposure too: although places are limited, there’s also the opportunity to do one of your placements overseas.

What you'll need to bring

We’re looking for high-calibre graduates. A real people person, you’ll be passionate about customer service and will take real pride in your work. Equally important, you’ll know how to lead and motivate teams. Having management ambition is very important. There’s every possibility you could, for instance, be running a 100-strong contact centre team after this scheme. In terms of qualifications, we’ll also be looking for at least a 2:1 (or equivalent) in any subject.
