Time to celebrate
Continuing our collaboration with Nottingham Forest FC, we committed to planting an extra tree for every 5,000 steps the men’s and women’s teams tracked and completed in training during October.
We've reached the end of our tree planting journey, and together with our E.ON Treekly community, we've walked an impressive 504 million steps and planted over 37,000 trees in Kenya.
How many football pitches would over 37,000 trees fill? Watch our video to find out.
Collaborating on sustainability initiatives
Official training wear partner
As part of the strengthened agreement, the E.ON logo will also appear across all men’s and women’s first-team adidas training wear for the 2023/2024 season.
About the partnership
Over the course of the season, we'll continue several innovative projects championing our commitment to tackling climate change and supporting the club's ambitions to reduce carbon emissions and reach net zero.
Together, we'll raise awareness of key energy issues and the ways we can all help to reduce emissions and become more sustainable at home, in the workplace, and even on the pitch.
"Our partnership with Forest has already helped us to shine a spotlight on what we can all do to reduce our impact on the planet – everything from home insulation, solar panels and electric car chargers, right through to bigger projects which aim to help businesses and local authorities – and today’s announcement means we’ll keep doing that and more.
Taking action for climate
We're supporting Nottingham Forest in becoming more sustainable. We recently carried out an energy audit and made energy efficiency recommendations for the club's sites including the stadium and training ground.
